We study Sabbath lessons before we start our divine service.
Our divine service includes prayer, testimonials, song and biblical stories for children.
Each service concludes with a preacher delivering Bible truth to our congregation.
Wakefield Seventh-day Adventist church meets every Sabbath, and rents the worship hall and sometimes the food hall to conduct our services and fellowship lunches from the Wakefield Baptist Church. We do not yet have our own accommodation, and are working towards increasing our congregation to warrant obtaining alternative church accommodation to conduct our services.
We take time to read and understand the Word, as it appears in our Bible; there are many lessons to learn, and we enjoy getting together to discuss.
Each quarter, we take part in Holy Communion with Jesus Christ, where we show humility to our church friends, as Jesus did when meeting with His disciples. We also know this as The Lord's Supper.
Prayer is an essential element of our relationship with God, and take opportunities, praying together in church, or having personal and private prayers in solitude.
Wakefield Seventh-day Adventist Church is a part of the North of England Conference of Seventh-day Adventist Churches.
